After a tough technical challenge consisting of another French classic, I was delighted to see some novelty cakes in the Bake Off tent. Christine's guitar and Frances flower box were my favourites. I felt sorry for Frances as she didn't get the credit she deserved. I think that flower box was simply stunning.

For my Bake Off challenge at home I decided to open a shoemakers this week. Making sugary baby shoes for special little people is one of my current favourites.
It takes me about an hour to make a pair and it's an hour well spent. The plan is to make a good few pairs to bring them along to a "Koffermarkt", which will be held on Saturday the 16th of November in beautiful Luzern.
There will be 80 makers all together, who will be offering lots of different products. As long as it's home made and fits into a small suitcase, you can bring it along. I'm excited to be part of it and can't wait to look at all the lovely home made goods from the other makers.
